OFRS General Meeting 5/12/22

Please join us for our next general PTA meeting on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 7 pm in the OFRS Cafeteria. 

We will focus mostly on our upcoming Spring Fair, so make sure to come with any questions you have!  We will also discuss the next steps in our transition from a PTA to a PTO, and there are some very important dates that you will need to put on your calendars.


OFRS SCHOOL FAIR May 20, 2022

COME ONE! COME ALL!

The OFRS PTA is so excited to announce that our annual Spring Fair is back!!! 🌸 Please join us on Friday, May 20th from 5pm-8pm (rain or shine)! This event is open to all OFRS students, families and friends! Come and celebrate with us as another school year comes to an end! There will be GAMES & PRIZES! DUNK TANK! FUN INFLATABLE SLIDES!☀️ DJ Randy will be spinning all of the hits! 🎶 And make sure to STRIKE A POSE with your friends in the PHOTO BOOTH! 📸Get ready for another OFRS tradition as our favorite FIRE TRUCK WET DOWN is back!!! 🚒*make sure to bring a towel*Also, our faculty sponsored experience raffle will return! After a few years off, the teachers and other faculty have donated amazing experiences to be raffled off (Assistant Principal for the day, homework passes, Library Assistant and much more!). Tickets to enter the raffle for these prizes will be cash only at the fair! Click on the link below to PRE-PURCHASE YOUR WRISTBAND FOR $15!🎟 (Pickup your wristbands at the fair when you check-in). You can also purchase wristbands at the door for $20. Wristband includes unlimited access to inflatables and games and will also include one drawstring bag to hold all prizes! ADULTS DO NOT NEED A WRISTBAND! ***FOOD, COTTON CANDY AND ICE CREAM IS CASH ONLY AT THE FAIR! 💵 Please note that this IS NOT a drop off event! OFRS TRICKY TRAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Hello OFRS Parents!!
Old Farmers is bringing back our annual Tricky Tray! The event will take place in October/November 2022 (Date and venue TBD). A Tricky Tray, also known as a “Gift Basket Auction”, is a fundraiser designed to raise money while having a fun night out with our school community. During a Tricky Tray, participants purchase raffle tickets and place the tickets in canisters near prizes they hope to win. These prizes are items that have been donated by local businesses, chain restaurants, corporate stores, theme parks, sports teams, etc. The prizes range in price, value, and type.  Classes at every grade level will be asked to put together a themed basket to auction at our event. Stay tuned for communication from your classroom Parent with more information about this in September!

The OFRS PTA and entire school community are coming together to help organize this Tricky Tray event with the hopes of raising money to support our school and to enhance our children’s educational opportunities at school!
